Gabe Schillman is a Michigan based oil on canvas portrait artist and the former founder/ owner of the popular “Studio 37 Arts and Culture Center” in Newaygo Michigan. The studio hosted gallery showcases for world renowned artists as well as hosting daily art classes in many mediums for the community. After closing the studio in 2020, Gabe focused on live portrait demos around the country, using his talent to help raise funds for organizations and movements he believed in. His work has been featured around the world, from Israel to Russia, and throughout the U.K.. He has completed over 1,000 commissioned works that are on display in galleries, homes, businesses, municipalities, and are included in some of the most coveted collections around the world. At auctions, his oil on canvas portraits have raised thousands for various causes, including the funding of a veterans memorial in Ridgeway, Wisconsin.
